If you care about seeing my crap, I mean.

Ok, so I’ve been thinking about something for awhile.

A good while, actually.

And I’ve come to the conclusion that I spend way, way, WAY too much time on tumblr. It cut into my school time last semester and it’s cutting into my writing time now. I’ll just sit here and refresh for hours and hours a day.

It’s taking up too much time.

It is sucking my life away and that is not healthy or good. I barely read anymore, and it’s really hard to get writing done. 

So I’m taking leave until I get shit done. It may last only a week, but more likely a month and possibly more.

This has nothing to do with any of you. Actually, that’s what’s making it hard to quit cold turkey.

I love you. And I mean that. If we’ve talked or debated or fangirled or ranted together, I consider you a friend. I love coming on here and seeing posts that make me smile or writing long, snarky deconstructions of things I find stupid.

But I can’t spend my life on the internet. There are far too many books I want to read and just as many I want to write. Tumblr is pretty much a black hole that sucks away hours of time I could spend doing something constructive.

And so I’m leaving. Probably NOT forever, but at least until I feel satisfied enough with myself to waste time here.

All that said, if you want to keep contact with me to make sure I’m still live and kicking, I’ll be willing to give you my skype name if you ask. 

I hate to be dramatic. I wanted to leave without making a big fussy post about it, but for reasons I’ll never understand, y’all seem to like me and I don’t want anyone to worry if I’m gone for a long period of time.

I’ll be around a little tonight, but after that I’m logging out, removing the bookmark and clearing my cookies so it’s not just a click away.

I’ve had a great time blogging with you all. You’re lovely people and I look forward to coming back someday.

But for now…
